making a quick post from my phone to show my students how to update a blog from an iphone. These are my students in my internet design class.
Just finished a very small site for a personal protection startup comapny called operation blackbook. You can view the site here –> operationblackbook.com.
I used a spare window and my video camera to film my hand. I ended up adding some heavy effects to video of my hand to deal with the amount of noise I got from my make shift lighting. I think the end result turned out pretty good.
A new interactive cover page I just completed for paulfrank.com. This is the first flash piece that I have used the tweening class TweenMax on. I am definitely hooked on the bezier motion tweens. Illustrations by Micah Player @ PF.
Showing my class how use wordpress and upload to your blog using an iPhone. I think wordpress is a great tool and an easy way for students to quickly get into online publishing. It also is very easy to customize and I think with a little CSS knowledge my students can really create some cool wordpress blogs.
I ran across this image today on my computer. I think this shirt was one of my favorite concepts from my time as creative director at Paul Frank. The baby on the shirt is my former co-worker parker Jacob’s daughter. The part-time model and also former co-worker is Sayer Danforth.
The shirt also made an appearance at the MTV VMA’s warn by nacho libre actor Héctor Jiménez.
This was a very strange job request. Take a KIA ad and add John McCain’s face to the dancing guy. I had a very short period of time to produce it, so it is pretty cheesy.
BTW: don’t forget to register to vote!
Just finished an edit for paulfrank.com. The footage was from Kidzapalooza in Chicago and I have no idea who was behind the camera. I did the best I could with the footage that I was given.

I have been wanting to jump into the world of HD. Waiting for the prices to come down and for a consumer camera that would shoot semi descent footage. The Canon HF-10 seems like the right camera. I quickly added some modification to boost it’s shooting potential.
Canon HF-10 + Stealth Grip + 35mm Adapter + 55mm 1.4f
quick test with the adapter:
my friend sayer also just leaped in - check out his goodie bag.
here is an animation I created for a back to school promotion for paul frank.
hi my name is daniel jensen - this is my new blog and it feels good.
